Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation enjoyed a remarkable 2008 and these are just some of the highlights, achieved with your support:

• We gratefully accepted a $10 million gift that will allow Miami Children’s Hospital’s Research Institute to carry out clinical trials that will provide medical breakthroughs for generations of children to come.
• We inducted superstar Beyoncé Knowles into our International Pediatric Hall of Fame, citing her outstanding work to fend off the onslaught of AIDS/HIV afflicting children of Africa.
• The Tuberous Sclerosis Center was created thanks to the generosity of Dr. Debra Becker and Dr. Jonathan Berger in honor of their daughter, Rebecca Leah, who was diagnosed with the complex disorder. Read more>
